Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of topical anesthesia and subconjuctiva anesthesia in the trabeculectomy.Methods The effect of topical anesthesia in the trabeculectomy,the results of intraocular pressure after operation were observed on 56 patients with 72 eyes.Results All of 72 eyes were operated on topical anesthesia without complications.Conclusion The topical anesthesia possess more safe and effective for the trabeculectomy.
