Abstract

Objective To utilize Meta-analysis in estimating the diagnostic value of contrast enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) and contrast enhanced computed tomography(CECT) for benign and malignant focal pancreas lesions. Methods English and Chinese articles related to CEUS and CECT diagnosis and differential diagnosis of benign and malignant focal pancreas lesions in PubMed and CNKI database were evaluated and selected. The included data were analyzed with Meta-disc 1.4 software. Results Fourteen studies were included. The pooled sensitivity, specificity and the area under curve(AUC) of summary receiver operating characteristic(SROC) curve in CEUS and CECT was 89.20%,94.00%,0.9545 and 85.50%,84.60%,0.9116,respectively.The accuracy of CEUS in diagnosis of focal pancreas lesions was higher than that of CECT(P0.005).Conclusion For focal pancreas lesions,CEUS is a noninvasive inspection method with high accuracy.
