Clinical effect research of different root-end filling materials

Objective:Compare the clinical effect of different root-end filling materials.Method:Choose 69 patients(72 teeth)who have under the common RCT and not completely cured,random divide them to 3 groups,group 1 with material MTA(group M,24 teeth),group 2 with material silver amalgam(group Y,24 teeth),group 3 with material Glass ionomer silver reinforced restorative(group B,24 teeth).All groups do root-end excision,backward preparing and root-end filling.Statistical analys the data of follow-up visit after 6 months,12 months and 24 months and the incidence rate of short term(1 week)inflammatory reaction,divide the results to 3 kinds by physical sign and imageology.Result:The total healing rate(2 years)of group 1 is higher then group 2 and 3,P 0.05;the total healing rate(2 years)of group 2 and 3 doesn't have obviously significance,P 0.05;the completely healing rate(3 months)of group 1 is higher then group 2 and 3,P 0.05;the completely healing rate(3 months) of group 2 and 3 doesn't have obviously significance,P 0.05.The incidence rate of short term(1 week)inflammatory reaction of group 1 is higher then group 2 and group 3,but p0.05,doesn't have statistical significance.Conclusion:Comparing the 3 groups,the efficiency of root tip hermetization of material better,the healing rate of root-end filling higher.
