Our country's code for design of highway and railway steel bridge structures is getting behind the development of bridge construction,which account for the lacking of relevant codes on some problems in design and calculation of steel and composite bridge structures.This paper takes a 100m main-span lifting basket arch bridge with composite beam deck system of steel box girder arch rib for example,then discuss the aforementioned problems refer to some foreign codes and offer reference to the design of some bridges
