Abstract
A survey was made with the methods of sampling and analysis on soil nutrients and evolutionary trends of the typical arable brown soil in Dongling and Sujiatun Districts of Shenyang. The spatial distribution was also made based on the nutrient classification. The contents of total and available nitrogen were quite high. The content of available phosphorus was 23.57 ± 14.94mg·kg-1, much higher than that of the second soil general survey. The content of available potassium was 76.10±26.81mg· kg-1, 29.54% lower than that of the second soil general survey, showed absence. The content of organic matter and CEC were in medium level. The variation of soil nutrients was not high and the spatial distribution of different nutrient items was not consistent. Soil pH was 5.61, with a trend of acidification.
