Abstract
Objective To evaluate the relationship between asphyxia and hyperbilirubinemia of newborn. Methods Detect the serum bilirubine of 105 newborns with neonatal jaundice and devide them into 3 groups:(A)without asphyxia(n=40),(B)with mild asphyxia(n=40)and(C)with severe asphyxia(n=25);then their levers of serum bilirubine were compared each other. Results The incidences of hyperbilirubinemia in group A,B and C were 47.5%,27.5% and 12.0% respectively, there were obvious statistical differences(P0.05).Conclusion The severer the asphyxia is the lower the bilirubine.
