Abstract
Proposed in this paper is a new method of estimating the customer's team length and queue length in M/G/c queuing system by Bootstrap resampling technique. The confidence intervals are constructed by three bootstrap methods, which are normal bootstrap confidence interval, pivot bootstrap confidence interval and percentile bootstrap confidence interval. The real data simulation results imply that the normal bootstrap confidence interval and percentile bootstrap confidence interval perform slightly superior to the pivot bootstrap confidence interval in terms of the length of the interval.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
