Abstract

Using the red mud made by Shandong Xinfa Company polyaluminium ferric chloride(PAFC),a new inorganic cation compound,was prepared,coagulant with high effect.PAFC had the advantages of aluminous coagulant's large flocs.The liquid solid ratio,temperature,time,pH,etc of the optimum conditions of extraction of PAFC from red mud were studied.The coagulant of PAFC and the factors affecting the coagulant were analyzed.The experimental study indicated the PAFC with good coagulant.
