Abstract
The status and developing trend of lead smelting technology were summarized.Processes of bath smelting and flash smelting were compared in terms of technology and economic effects.In summary,lead smelting process should aim to achieve lower environmental pollution,higher metal recovery rate,more effectiveness for complex low grade lead-bearing ore materials,lower energy consumption and higher automation.The successful operation of world advanced lead oxygen-enriched flash smelting with independent intellectual property is of significance in improving the lead smelting technology and enterprises competitiveness in China.
