Abstract
Two new ternary mixed-ligand complexes of copper(Ⅱ) with 1,10-phenanthroline β-amino acid Schiff base, [Cu(sal-β-phe-phen)]and [Cu(sal-β-ala-phen)]·H_2O, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, infrared spectroscopy, UV absorption spectroscopy and TG-DTA analysis. The antibacterial activity of the complexes was tested.
