On Character Education in English under the Context of New Curriculum Reforms

Character education is an inexorable trend of development of history and the requirements of the advanced educational notions and the new age.The goals of new curriculum reforms are implement the educational principles of Communist Party of China comprehensively and to carry forward character education comprehensively. We must adhere to character education steadfastly because English curriculum is one of the important parts of character education in our country.In order to implement character education in English,a structural system of the student's qualities should be constructed,and accordingly a goal system of English teaching and learning should be constructed.At the same time,the fundamental principles of character education in English should be followed.
