Abstract
By analyzing Confucius′ s words from Analects,this article discusses the contribution of Confucius to compositions.Firstly,according to Confucius′ sorting,reading and interpreting the ancient documents,it discusses Confucius′ critical criterion and appreciative principles.Then,according to Confucius′ lecturing practice,it discusses Confucius′ expressive principles and style.By the two aspects of research,the author considers that Confucius not only knew the Tao of composition well,but also had a tremendous influence on later compositions.
