Serial communication between computer and OMRON PLC realized by language of Java

Abstract

OMRON CJ series PLC is widely used in the industrial automation.Serial communication between PLC and computer is extensively used in distributed control system,data acquisition system and so on.By hardware configuration,port′s parameter allocation,PLC program for serial communication design,setting for Java serial communication API and designing serial communication program on the computer hand,this paper show a method of serial communication between computer and PLC with language of Java.
