Abstract

Objective To explore the stability of nocturnal blood pressure variation among the aged.Methods A continual 3 times(12 months intervals) of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring were performed on 32 normal blood pressure aged and 35 hypertensive aged who had taken amlodipine.3 nocturnal reduction rates(NRR) of two groups were compared.Results There were no significantly difference in 3 NRR between two groups(P0.05).Conclusions The circadian rhythm of blood pressure has good stability.
