Abstract

It is important for performanced-based fire protection design to analyze fire hazard and design fire. If fire hazard identification and analysis can be applied objectively, design fire curves will be reasonable. Then, performanced-based fire protection design will achieve its anticipative objective. Based on some examples, two instances of fire hazard analysis and four typical design fire styles and their respective analytical approaches are introduced in this paper.
