Abstract
Objective To investigate the histopathologieai and immunophenotypic characteristics of 12 cases of Classical Hodgkin's lymphoma. Materials and Methods Formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues from 12 case were studied by HE and immunostaining for CD20 , CD30 , CD5RO·CD15 , and Ki-67 antigens for tumor cells. Results (1) Hodgkin / Reed -Sternberg cells have a lot of variants. (2) Differential histological and immunophenotypic characteristics were found in these samples. (3) The NSHL cells showed CD30 (6/6) and CD15 (1/6) and not show CD20(0 / 6). The MCHL cells showed CD30(5 / 5)、CD15(0 / 5) ,The LDHL cells showed CD30 (1 /1). The rate of positive reaction is higher than CD15 (0. 01 P 0. 025). Conclusions (1) Each subtype of CHL has distinctive histopathological and immunophenotypic characteristics. Malignant cells mainly expresses CD30 , but rarely CD15 . (2) Special attentions should be paid to the application of immunohistochemistry for CD30 ,CD15 , CD20 and Ki-67 .
