Abstract
Objective: To understand the conditon of water quality and sanitary status fromRural Drinking Water Safety Project in Jinchengjiang country,to provide scientific basis in the construction and management of rural drinking water safety project for the government and related departments.Methods: Test was conducted according to Standard examination methods for drinking water(GB/T5750-2006),and result was evaluated according to Standard for drinking water quality(GB5749-2006).Results: The qualified rate of 229 water samples for rural drinking water safety project was 26.6%.There were significant differences in different years(χ2=18.6,P0.05),water qualification rates between dry-season and wet-season had significant differences(χ2=46.88,P0.05),the finished water had no significant difference with peripheral water(χ2=0.012,P0.05),the unqualified items were total bacterial,total coli group,thermotolerant coli grop.Conclusion: Water quality and sanitation fromRural Drinking Water Safety Project in Jinchengjiang county were bad,microbial contamination was more serious,strengthening management and disinfection of rural drinking water was extremely urgent.
