Abstract

【Objective】To explore clinical application of the simultaneous treatment of adult genu varum/genu valgum and limb shortening with callus lengthing.【Method】39 cases with adult genu varum/genu valgum and limb shortening were therapied by callus lengthing.【Results】All cases were followed up for 30~48 and 36 months at average, the good rate is 100%, and all cases healed, were not nonunion, were osteomyelitis and other complication. 【Conclusions】The effects of the simultaneous treatment of adult genu varum/genu valgum and limb shortening with callus lengthening is satisfying .The method deserve to be generalize.
