Review on the Application and Fire-resistance of the Steel Staggered-truss System

Abstract

The steel staggered-truss system is an economical, practical and highly effective structural system. In this paper, the structural characteristics and applications of the staggered-truss system were introduced. And the mechanical properties of the steel staggered-truss system under fire conditions were discussed preliminarily. Some useful suggestions for the fire-resistance design of the system were presented further.
