Abstract
Objective:To study the effects of visual feedback balance training with MTD balance assessment and training system on the equilibrium function and the mobility function in hip fracture patients.Methods:The patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group(n=60 each).Visual feedback balance training and comprehensive rehabilitation therapy with MTD balance assessment and training system were used in observation group,and control group was treated only with comprehensive rehabilitation therapy.The patients were assessed using MTD balance assessment and training system,the Tinetti Gait Balance Test and the Timed Up Go Test after training for 1 or 12 weeks.Results:There was no significant difference between the two groups in average pressure peak value and average pressure peak value percentage,Tinetti Gait Balance Test Scale and Timed Up Go Test after training for 1 week.After training for 12 weeks,there was significant difference in above-mentioned parameters in both two groups in comparison to the first week(all P0.05),more significant in observation group than in control group(P0.05).Conclusion:After training for 12 weeks,the balance and mobility function of the patients in observation group had a significant improvement in comparison with control group.The visual feedback balance training with MTD balance assessment and training system can promote the recovery of the balance and mobility function of the patients with hip fracture.
