SEQUENCE STRATIGRAPHY ANALYSIS AND STUDY ON SEDIMENTARY FACIES OF CARBONIFEROUS IN CENTRAL-TARIM BASIN

An investigation of sequence stratigraphy shows that the carboniferous system in central-tarim can be divided into 4 sedimentary sequence, the sedimentary facies are dominated by littoral facies, two different sedimentary system, fore(?)hore and tidal bank,developed under the littoral facies sedimentary background, in addition, plateau facies and delta facies sedimentary system also developed, according to their developing age and their distribution, sedimentary facies can be divided into 4 type sedimentary system association, sedimentary environment underwent the evolution from littoral facies to restricted platform facies, littoral facies to restricted platform facies, the carboniferous system in central-tarim area of tarim basin develop two type reservoir bed: sandstone reservoir and carbonate reservoir and develop a good territorial capping bed.
