As one of the most important discoveries,surplus value is the important part of Marxist political economics and the theoretical foundation.In Capital,by the analysis of capitalist production process,Marx expounds mainly on the source of capitalist surplus value and the essence of capitalist production,which lead to some scholars' misunderstanding that surplus value is peculiar to the economic category of capitalist society.It is of great significance in China's socialist modernization to make sure whether there is the surplus value in socialist society or not,distinguish socialist surplus value from capitalist surplus value and explore the ways to create the greatest labour surplus value.
