Abstract

In this Paper,the base principles of RAID(Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive/Independent Disks)storage technology are described simply.The authors focus on the technology keystone,creating modal,perfor-mance features comparison and implementation of the original Berkeley RAID levels and the hybrid RAID levels,containing the RAID classification,RAID System Performance Factors,etc.Additionally,the application of Video RAID,some advice on choosing RAID products and future RAID trends are also shown in the following.[
