More than six hundred Chinese scholars and over four hundred foreign aestheticians attended the 18th World Aesthetic Congress in Beijing.The theme of the Congress is Diversity of Aesthetics,which covers many topics such as basic theory of aesthetics,Western classical aesthetics and contemporary aesthetics,Oriental aesthetics,Chinese aesthetics and art,dancing aesthetics,music aesthetics,drama aesthetics,architectural aesthetics,environmental aesthetics and life aesthetics.The discussions include theoretical issues from a philosophical perspective,realistic concerns of social life,various forms of national art,and cross-cultural exploration.
