Abstract
The campus culture is an important component of socialist advanced culture and it is an efficient way and the powerful carrier to carry out the university students' ideological and political education.Strengthening the campus cultural reconstruction has very great significance to enhance and to improve the university students' ideological and political education and to improve the university students' overall quality.As the base of cultivating science and technology talents,the engineering colleges and universities have their own cultural characteristics.Through analysis of campus culture characteristics of the engineering colleges and universities,this article proposed the suggestions of further strengthening the campus cultural construction thus advancing the university students' ideological and political education.
