Abstract
In this work, the physico-chemical and electrochemical performance of sulfonated polysulfone were studied.Sulfonated polysulfone membranes swelled less than Nafion membranes did. The proton conductivities in sulfonated polysulfone membranes are lower than in Nafion membranes when the two membranes have same EW values. It appears that the sulfonated polysulfone membranes looks promising for proton exchange membrane fuel cell applications.
