A Methodological Perspective on Basic Characteristics of Chinese Economic Growth Mode

From the perspective of economic methodology,China's high growth has its profound and unique characteristics,which means that the basic hypotheses of China's economy are different from other countries',especially the developed ones.Hence,it is imprudent to conduct research on issues of economic growth in China through the framework of western economics.Basing on the fact of quantitative growth,we found that some vivid and special characteristics in China have profound influence over the economic growth mode,such as political and economic institutions,structure of productivity,mechanism of science advancement,historical traditions and economic foundations.Our conclusion is that we should make use of the principles and norms of positive methodology of western economics rather than its basic hypotheses.
