Abstract

The Jijishen Cu-Pb-Zn polymetallic deposit located in eastern section of the Pb-Zn-Ag-Cu-Au polymetallic mineralized zone on north edge of Qaidam Basin.The Jijishen deposit was controlled by the strata of Tanjianshan Group at Upper Ordovician(O3tn).The paper has introduced the geological characteristics of Cu-Pb-Zn polymetallic deposit,and believed that this deposit is formed by hydrothermal precipitation and hydrothermal alteration.The prospecting criteria in this area are proposed and the prospecting direction in this area has also been pointed out based on the data concluded by former researcher.
