Abstract

Using maize as the experimental materials, the paper studies on the utilization situation, different irrigation system on the water use in the process of maize growth. The results shows that soil moisture is an important index to maize root distribution of maize, early water deficit on root to soil depth extent influenced more than in maize growth period water treatment; water demand is very important for early maize growth, directly affected the whole growth period, crop yield. Later water deficit, could improve the water use efficiency of maize, has little effect on crop yield.
