Abstract
Faithfulness is the most important rule of the translation.Poems call for the beauty in meaning,sound and form.When a poem is translated,the original beauty should be reproduced faithfully.This paper is a comment on the two English versions of the Chinese lyric written by LU You,aims at proving that it is possible,though quite difficult to translate poems satisfactorily and successfully.
