The Expression of Ki-67 and C-erbB-2 in the Sample of Breast Cancer and Its Clinical Significance

Objective:To observe the expression of Ki-67 and C-erbB-2 in the sample of breast cancer and its relationship with the histologic or clinical parameters.Methods:The expression of Ki-67 and C-erbB-2 in 114 cases of the breast carcinomas with the immunohistochemical technique were examined.Analyzed the relationship with Ki-67,C-erbB-2 and the histologic or clinical parameters.Results:The positive rate of Ki-67 was 69.4%(100/144).The expression of Ki-67 was related with the clinical stages of tumor(P=0.000),but not with age,tumor size and lymph node status(P0.05).The positive rate of C-erbB-2 was 52.1%(75/144).The expression of C-erbB-2 was related with the clinical stages of tumor(P=0.003) and lymph node status(P=0.000),but not with age and tumor size(P0.05).In addition,the expression of Ki-76 had a positive correlation with the expressions of C-erbB-2(P=0.001).Conclusion:The expression of Ki-67 and C-erbB-2 is an objective biological marker for estimating the occurrence and progression of breast cancer,which was a guidance for preoperative.
