Abstract
In order to evaluate the influence on tide and sediment by planning Tieshan Port project,a 2D tidal current numerical model was set up in this paper. After calibration, the calculation results were found to be in good agreement with the measurements. The results show that the rise of tide after project is no more than 0.7 m and the velocity of the tidal current is mainly decreased except for local area. However, the tidal flux is increased because of the deepened waterway. The deposition in the waterway is mainly composed of bed sand. But the sedimentation amount is so small that it will not influence the navigation condition.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
