Abstract

The chemical properties of soil under six types of forests in Wuyishan Scenic Resort including Pinus massoniana forest,Cunninghamia lanceolata forest, cash forest, bamboo forest, broad leafed forest and Camellia sinensis plantation were analyzed. The results showed that the soil nutrients under artificial forests(cash forest, bamboo forest and Camellia sinensis plantation) were higher than those under natural forests(Pinus massoniana forest,Cunninghamia lanceolata forest and broad leafed forest)because of artificial fertilization and cultivation. For the same forest type, the nutrients in the soil at three different levels(0~20 cm,20~40 cm and 40~60 cm)were also various, all soil nutrient indices except pH value decreased with the increase of soil depth.
