Social Nature of Chinese Migrant Workers——the Identity Change of Migrant Workers as the Starting Point

Chinese migrant workers has semi-structured identity,they are farmers,but engaged in work as workers'.This paper is trying show plight of Chinese migrant workers identity conversion,measuring and analyzing in native concept of making moneya making a living,and expand discussion of social nature of migrant workers.The conclusion is that,industrial civilization wants discipline migrant workers as structural,but on other hand,it did not give migrant workers right awareness and social security base,migrant workers retreat smallholder logic when they are exposed industrial risk.Ultimately,migrant workers can not complete identity transformation,they have stick smallholders logic-based to live: find best integration point between smallholder production and industrial production,to complete reproduction of smallholder families.The special Chinese migrant workers social nature makes them the forth agricultural problem after agriculture,rural and farmers.
