Abstract

The communication mode of Modbus application protocol in a serial line network and Ethernet is introduced.A modbus protocol-based monitoring and control system of pumping stations is put forward.The reason for adopting Modbus protocol is analyzed.With the Shenzhen Shawan Pumping Station as an example,the realization of client/server communication in the main control network and master/slave communication in the local control network is described in detail.
