Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical application value of laparoscopy combined with choledochoscopy in the treatment of cholecystolithiasis and choledocholithiasis. Methods One hundred and two patients with cholecystolithiasis and choledocholithiasis in our hospital from September 2010 to October 2012 were randomly divided into control group(n=51)and observation group(n=51).The control group of patients was treated with laparotomy while the observation group was treated with laparoscopy combined with choledochoscopy. The surgical time, bleeding volume, length of stay and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results The bleeding volume and hospital time of the observation group were significant shorter than that of the control group(P0.05).There were 3 cases of biliary fistula in the observation group while 4 cases of pulmonary infection and 1 case of surgical wound infection in the control group. After antimicrobial therapy, they were all recovered. No recycled stones were found neither in the observation or the control group after one year follow-up.Conclusion The curative effect of the treatment with laparoscopy combined with choledochoscopy on cholecystolithiasis and choledocholithiasis was significant.Compared to traditional surgery, the technique has advantages of safer, more effective, shorter hospital stay and faster recovery. Therefore it is worthy of clinical application.
