Investigation on Water Quality of the Ruxi River in Zhong County of Chonqing Municipality

Ruxi River is a primary tributary of the Changjiang River in Zhong County.The attendant increasing number of water pollutants have discharged into the river with the economic development of the Ruxi River valley and insufficient water conservation measue in place,The paper investigate the water quality of Ruxi River,by using multi-point sampling approach,.Further more,major problems concerning water environment concervation have been identified and examined.Finally,some preventive and control meaures have been put forward,which include strengthening domestic waste management,argriculatual areas source pollution as well as pollutions from domestic livestock farming in Ruxi River Areas.
