Abstract
Disc brake is a common brake apparatus, which is used in car and other transporting equipment. The vibration has great influence on the performance of the disc brake in the working process. In order to accurately grasp its vibration characteristics,a three-dimensional finite element model of brake parts were established using ANSYS software and a constraint modal analysis was made. The first six order natural frequency and vibration model of disk and caliper were obtained. The results showed that the third order natural frequency of the friction disk and the second order natural frequency of the caliper is very close, which may cause resonance of the system. The research results provide certain theoretical reference for the optimization design of the disc brake.
