Abstract
The ActiveX control MSComm afforded by Microsoft provides a brief and shortcut scheme for users to set up serial communication application in Windows. This paper introduced a means of making the application and calling on MSComm control to realize serial communication between PC and 51 series Singlechip by using VB.
