Abstract
In printing and packaging production process,analyzing the paper moisture content correctly plays an important role to improve the mechanical properties of paper,printing eligibility,color print accuracy and the packaging strength.This topic is to study the environmental humidity on the mechanical behavior of paper and paper moisture content,the moisture content of paper was adjusted by changing environmental humidity by using constant temperature and humidity test chamber,and the mechanical properties of paper were measured to characterize the changing trends of impact on the mechanical properties of paper.Data show that under the same environmental humidity,the moisture contents of different kinds of paper are different,but the paper moisture content increases with the increase of environmental humidity,when RH is in the range of 60% to 70%,the rate of change of water content is the fastest.With the increase of water content,the paper tensile strength gradually decreased,at the same time,paper folding resistance and tear strength are increasing.
