Clinical analysis of endoscopic treatment of 150 cases of maxillary sinus cyst by antrostomy through three approaches

Objective:To explore the endoscopic antrostomy treatment outcomes of 150 maxillary sinus cyst through three approaches.Method:Retrospective study is applied by analyzing the clinical data of 150 cases with maxillary sinus cyst who were admitted to our department.Three surgical approaches were used to excise the lesions according to the location and accompany diseases.58 cases were treatment through normal orifice,53 cases were through inferior nasal meatus approach and 53 cases were anterior wall of maxillary sinus.The outcomes were evaluated.Result:After 6 months to 1 year follow-up,ventilation of all the 150 cases with maxillary sinus cyst were well with gas pain,headache and dizziness disappeared.The maxillary sinus is smooth without purulent secretion and recurrence under endoscopic examination and nasal CT.Conclusion:The postsurgical outcome of maxillary sinus cyst treatment was better by different approaches under nasal endoscopy according to the location and accompany disease.
