Abstract

Objective To assess the efficacy and influences of hysteroscopic electrosurgery in treating abnomal uterine bleeding(AUB) Methods 210 women AUB received hysteroscopic transcervical resection of the endometrium or intrauterine lesions with a contious flow resectoscope Results 210 patients were followed for 4 to 24 months.Menstrual symptoms ameliorated in 91.9% of the patieills.60 women became ameworrhoeic;41 women had only spotting;92 women recovered normal peniod. Two patients received hysterectomy later for recurrent utering bleeding. Conclusion Hysteooscopie eletrosurgery is an effective procedure in treating abnowal uterine bleeding.
