Abstract

Taking the normal meteorological observation from 1971 to 2006 as the input-data of LPJ model,NPP in the region around Hangzhou Bay was simulated, and the temporal and spatial characteristics of NPP's variation were analyzed. The results showed that: 1) The 36-year mean NPP over the study area was 552.10 gC/(m2·a) and presented uptrend with a rate of 1.52 gC/(m2·a2).2) The 36-year mean NPP of the study area was between 494.23 and 617.23 gC/(m2·a).The value in and far away from the coastal region presented longitudinal distribution, while that in the central region had zonal distribution. The spatial distributions of mean NPP in different periods mostly accorded with the 36-year mean NPP.3) With climatic variation, the relatively large value regions of NPP expanded, but the enhancement varied in different regions. With the increase(decrease) of precipitation or concentration of CO2,NPP had an increasing(decreasing) trend, and with the increase(decrease) of temperature or cloud cover,NPP had a decreasing(increasing) trend. For the region around Hangzhou Bay from 1971 to 2006,CO2 concentration played a major role in NPP,while cloud cover had relative important role.
