Abstract

This article is about concept of passive freedom and clarifies passive freedom compared with active freedom,with republic freedom and the distinction between freedom of morality and justice and personal freedom;based on that,it analyzes the shortcoming of the concept of freedom of Nigel Simon and his flaw in the proposition of natural law which concerns the innate connection between law and ideal freedom.
