Review of Zhang Jie's Novels Since the 1970's

Zhang Jie is one of China's contemporary famous novelists. There has been a focus of attention of Feminist criticism of Zhang Jie's novels and discussion about her representative works in the literary world. In recent years a new critical situation has emerged from the perspectives of narratology, deconstructionism, etc., but there still stay some unsolved problems. An attempt is made in this article, trying to give a stage sorting out and critique of the works and research on Zhang Jie's novels in the past thirty years and looking forward to having a brief summoning-up with a clear presentation and hoping to find a way for further study.
