Abstract
The effects of Phragmites communis and Typha latifolia in constructed wetland on micro-polluted river water treatment were studied, the removal of CODMn, total phosphorus, total nitrogen by the wetlands planted with the said two kinds of plants respectively were investigated.The results of the test showed that, the average removal rates of CODMn, total phosphorus and total nitrogen by the wetland planted with Typha latifolia were 37.97%, 73.46% and 58.53% respectively.However, the corresponding rates were 28.57% , 66.73% and 48.32% by the wetland planted with Phragmites commumis.It could draw a conclusion that, the constructed wetland planted with Typha latifolia was superior to the wetland planted with Phragmites communis for its better pollution removal efficiency.
