Abstract
The method of solubility parameter was used to predict miscibility of polymer blends. The effects of dispersion, polar and hydrogen bonding interactions between molecules on the miscibility of homopolymer/homopolymer, homopolymer/copolymer were considered. For copolymers, the miscibility was increased by adjusting the solubility parameter through the composition. The miscibility trend of the blends was revealed by comparing the calculated values and the experimental results.
