Abstract

An integrated thought on name was included in On Protracted War.It referred to the value on analysing name,the definitation of name,the various denotations of name,the mobility of name and the relation between name and reality. The name or reality of thewar between China and Japan was closely centred on in the course of analysing these 5 aspects.The thought of name in On Protracted War embodied MAO Ze-dong's logical thought of Chinese character;on the other hand,it reflected the inner thought of MAO Ze-dong in building the modern culture of China:fusing China and foreign countries,Linking up the ancient and the present.
