Abstract

Objective To evaluate preliminarily the efficacy of immediate coronary catheterization and angioplasty (PTCA/STENT)after intravenous thrombolytic therapy in the patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods Twenty-nine patients were divided into three groups according to the results of coronary arteriography:the patients with TIMI≥Ⅱ degree and no angioplasty (A group);TIMI≥Ⅱ degree, artery stenosis≥85% and angioplasty (B group);TIMIⅡ and angioplasty (C group). To compare the efficacy and prognosis within 4 weeks after treatment. Results The reperfusion rate was 65.5%(19/29).The duration of CK-MB and troponin T elevation in A group (7 cases) and B group(12 cases) was shorter than that in C group. The duration of troponin T was significant difference between B group and C group(P0.05).The difference between B and C group was statistically significant in LVEF(P0.05).The heart occurrence rate in three groups had no significant difference. Conclusion It was effective that immediate PTCA/STENT following intravenous thrombolytic therapy in the patients with acute myocardial infarction, especially in the patients with TIMI≥Ⅱ degree and artery stenosis≥85%.
