Structural Grammar holds that grammar should accurately describe the language and how people speak,rather than prescribe the language and description of language should be form-based rather than meaning-based.Grammar in Generative Grammar can both refer to the linguistic competence and description of listener/speaker's linguistic faculty.Generative Grammar aims to describe the grammatical principles shared by all languages.Functional Grammar focuses its attention on the syntactical structure and language application and the relations between society/culture and context of situation.
